Tools and More Palettes from my Studio
Wonderfully packaged palette, no dents or bang-ups
In a previous post here, I mentioned the American Journey Porcelain Palette from Cheap Joe's and it arrived a few weeks back but I didn't get a chance to post about it since I've been getting sick lately.
I really like the clear plastic cover it came with. It make it much more pleasant to look at than the Stephen Quiller palette cover. Time to fill with paints!
Unboxed is a pretty porcelain palette with no scratches or defects.

The sole purpose of this palette was to hold my new Winsor & Newton paints. I love Grahams but wanted to test a few tubes of W&N to see how they handle which will probably be posted in another review.

After planning out the color process, I ended up incorporating some of my most used paints from the Graham line. It feels like Christmas.
My Daniel Smith palette
I also stopped by Blick and bought a round white porcelain palette for all my Daniel Smith paints. This is a Jack Richeson palette for roughly $10. Efficient and cost effecive! Feeling accomplished - I decided to grab all my palettes and take a group family photo.

Lastly, I wanted to share a neat idea for a brush holder. I acquired too many brushes over the course of a few years and planned on getting a brush holder from Blick. The problem was, Blick sold these holders for $4-$6 each and I didn't see the point of splurging on something just to hold my brushes so I ended up ordering Blue Mason Jars from Amazon. The result was super beautiful and for roughly $1.80 per jar!
